VISITORS TO THE EASTERN BAY OF PLENTY

If you are visiting the beautiful Eastern Bay of Plenty and find yourself in need of a chiropractor, please contact us and explain your situation. 

Information that is important for us to know when booking your first appointment;

• Are you under current chiropractic care at home?
• Is it possible to contact your regular chiropractor and have your notes forwarded to our chiropractors at Eastern Bay Chiropractic?
• Have you had any recent imaging (X-rays, MRI) of your spine?  Do you have a copy of these? Or are you able to have a copy forwarded to the Eastern Bay Chiropractic team?
• Have you injured yourself while on holiday or was this a pre-exisiting complaint which has flared up? 

The more information you provide us with the better equiped we are to book the correct appointment type for you, provide you with accurate information before your appointment and provide care.

Please be aware that if you have not had any imaging or are unable to provide copies/reports of imaging, we may need to take x-rays. 
X-rays can tell us a lot about the structure of the spine as well as the amount of distribution of 'wear and tear' and to ensure that it is safe to adjust.  In the right circumstances x-rays are a valuable tool.

At Eastern Bay Chiropractic we have onsite digital x-ray facilities so we can take your x-ray on the spot allowing faster turnaround time for care. We are the only chiropractic practice in the Eastern Bay of Plenty with x-ray facilities. Any imaging will only be considered where clinically justified, in line with current legislation and guidelines. Infants, children and pregnant mums are not x-rayed unless clinically justified.
